Items with bird subjects are quite scarce and mainly found on ware. Engraving plates still exist but are easy to spot as they are clearly marked 'coalport' on their backs. Prattware is particularly known for its vivid coloured grounds, pinks, blues green and brick red are common. Examples with a white ground are less desirable and this should be reflected in the price.
